Sandra graduated from the University of California, Irvine, where she received her B.A. in English Literature. She received her Master of Science in Leadership and Management from the University of La Verne.

She has worked in international education since 1991, where she developed numerous programs for international organizations, schools, and universities for UC Irvine, UC Riverside, and ELS.

She enjoys hiking, ceramics, her two cats Milo and Flame, and learning more about the world around us and different cultures from her students and her travels.
