Amy received her B.A. in communications from UC San Diego and her M.A. in Education from Aliant Masters University. She is currently working towards obtaining a second B.A. in communication disorders from Loma Linda University.

She has been drawn to teaching from the moment she was a literacy tutor in high school. Fun fact: Amy taught English in Japan for 3 years!

In her free time, she enjoys taking care of her 3 kids, hiking, creating content for her YouTube channel, and playing video games.
