Overview of Programs
American English Institute offers a variety of programs to help students reach their goals and dreams. Our core program is the Intensive English Program where students can improve their English quickly. All programs are taught by expert instructors in small classes so students receive personalized attention and make fast progress.
4 & 8- Week Intensive English
The 4 & 8-Week Intensive Program prepares students for academic and professional success. Students study 20 hours per week and complete a level in just 8 weeks. 4-Week sessions are available for students that want to study short-term. B1/B2 & F1 students welcome.
English + Flight Training
AEI's English + Flight Training Program allows students to study Intensive English and aviation English while studying to become a pilot. Students study to pass ICAO Level 4 while earning a private pilot license (PPL), instrument rating license (IRL), and commercial pilot license (CPL) in just 12-16 months!
Summer & Winter Youth Camps
Youth Programs are offered to student groups by request, on a limited basis. Students aged 8-18 years old study English in the mornings and explore Southern California each afternoon. Weekend excursions to the best tourist destinations are included!
Customized Programs
American English Institute customizes programs based on group requests. English Teacher Training Programs, Business & Executive Training Programs, and Tourism Management are the most popular requests. Groups can be 5 to 50 persons.
Tutoring & Test Prep
Test Preparation is offered at American English Institute, especially designed with the needs of international students in mind. One-on-one sessions helps students to focus on the skills they need to improve their score quickly. TOEFL, IELTS, GRE and GMAT test preparation is available and sessions can be scheduled at the student's convenience.
Evening ESL
The Evening ESL Tutoring is offered to develop English language skills.
